Inside a tomato
The fleshy wall surrounds chambers of seeds and gel. Paste tomatoes generally have less water and fewer seeds, which makes them useful for sauce.
What does “indeterminate” mean?
These plants keep growing and producing through the season until frost or disease stops them. Give them a cage, stake or trellis. Determinate plants have a more compact growth habit and a concentrated harvest.
